Hi,

My first bit of work with a microscope. Anyone here with a bit more experience that can help identify the pollen taken from London/Essex honey?

:thanks:

Cant help but there are a few different ones in there

The triangular one could be a fruit tree from malus/prunus group or Brambles (need size to sort out) or willow herb. I suspect the former as I can also see a round one with rods in the exine which I think is pussy willow suggesting this is honey collected in spring. The rest are too blurred to make out.

You need to measure the size of them & refer back to Rew Saywers book

Thanks for your help VEG, MasterBK and Snoop. Appreciate your assistance. I'll go buy the book as suggested. Fasinating subject.
