E&M.....is that a Linden/Lime tree leaf? It's really lovely to see leaves opening from the buds.
It’s Hazel.

I walk the dog early each morning to maintain the social distancing measures that we must follow. So that each day has a positive start, I am recording the progress of spring using photos. The intention is to choose one photo from each day of lockdown/ social distancing and mount them in a book. A positive thing rather than dwelling on chaos and sadness.

Then keep putting them on here we we can all celebrate your finds. Thanks
E

Some photos taken this morning:

A developing pine cone, which was completely encased last week.
A Peacock butterfly.

Your opening it up for us instead.
I do like a nicely clipped box... Apologies for the pun.

Thanks Eric here's a garden I designed last year and built, it was a swimming pool before hand, I love doing a bit of stone work.
There's a water feature in the middle.

Curly, local stone? Looks good.
Wall stone is Herefordshire grey and red sandstone, and the paving is Herefordshire green.

It all came from the blackmountian quarry nr craswell.
The project was in the Bromyard downs.
And took four weeks for two men.

There's more patio near the house but I don't think the clients would like me putting pics of there house on socal media.

I've learned all my stonework skills from my brother who is a stone Mason.
