Curly green fingers. Beekeepers who do pollen analysis of their honey find the characteristic pollen of that flower (Myosotis = forget-me-not) in most honey samples.

Thanks mbk, that's interesting there's lots growing wild but I've never noticed the girls on it before.

I don't have any in the garden at all, another plant for the list.

Had some pollen in my pollen analysis from last year. Great picture though MB was it yours or just to prove the point?

Only ever use my own photos (and have taken many thousands over the years). The pollen photo was taken with camera fitted with microscope adaptor. The microscope used was an Olympus with a photopod (bought to photogaph asbestos and other industrial dusts) and cost the same as a small car back in the 80's.

Tell me about it. I had an OM4Ti (bought in the US so it was much cheaper than here in the UK) - not the horrible black model they brought along later. The original metal body. I seem to remember that the flash was an F280 (1/2000th sec synch speed - not that I ever needed that fast).

About the same here dani.
The maple looks very good this year and the harwthorne...
There is still blackthorn to open in South Shropshire.
I had a look yesterday at the supers and some are half full even capped honey, that is very early for me here.
Hopefully the nice spring continues, unlike last year where my spring crop got left.. In hindsight I should of removed some frames or moved some frames about. Lesson learned girlys.

E&M.....is that a Linden/Lime tree leaf? It's really lovely to see leaves opening from the buds.

Hi Dani, I had actually overlooked seeing one of your photos as I was focussing on your hawthorn photo with the flowering buds. That is a wonderful shot of yours of the sycamore too...
