The over exaggeration is mostly coming from your direction? Constantly? Week in, week out?

Some examples of my constant week in week out over-exaggeration, please? I'd be interested to read some.

You have never been on the receiving end of his PM's before?? They are not nice to read.
Not a joke to me and rather insensitive of UB if he continues to try to provoke me.
Do you think being called a chronic masturbater on a public forum is in the least bit humerous SDM??? Perhaps you do?

It's twice as funny now that you've repeated it !

And certainly a lot funnier than referring to me as a 'thick paddle' (we know what you really meant by that) when I politely challenged your opinion.

I suppose humour is in the eye/ear of the beholder. There is a long tradition of broadly speaking, scatological humour. At least back to Chaucer.

But the original joke was really meant to be that while you call me thick, you almost certainly had to look up 'onanism' in the dictionary.

You need to relax.

No you don't, you chose to think you did and got it wrong.
A thick paddle is an mildly offensive rowing term usually dished out to the guy/gal who can't keep up....they must be using a "thick paddle"...or at least it was in my old river Wear sculling club.
If I'd used the word Paddy you would be right to take offence. However if I've inadvertently caused you racist distress by using the term paddle then I unreservedly apologize for choosing a word that you have chosen to imply means something racist towards yourself. Me thinks you badly over-interpreted here.

Let's see about that...

The thread in question, which YOU started on 5/12/17, was titled 'Bee imports continue to rise'

In your OP, you asserted that it
Seems that disenchantment with local mongrels and the likes is increasing.

https://beekeepingforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=611880&postcount=1

I pointed out that by itself, your analysis was weak.

https://beekeepingforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=611886&postcount=4

You then went on the attack, and said
Can't argue that there are more imports than ever, for whatever reasons.

https://beekeepingforum.co.uk/showpost.php?p=611888&postcount=5

But as ITLD pointed out in the same thread,
The main reason for the increase is a tightening up of procedures and thus improved reporting, not a real rise in numbers coming in. Statistics can SEEM to show anything you want them to.

(my emphasis there)

So that is that.

I rowed for my college, (edit in England) and never heard that term once in three years. Not once.

I wasn't distressed in the slightest.

However, others who know your form spotted it too.

I think we can leave it there.

I wish you well with your beekeeping this year.

For all you've learned about bees, you've a lot to learn about the British, were generally a bit less confrontational and plain speaking than some of our northern European cousins we'd call it respectful . No surprise really that you haven't learned that here.

Adult people select what they want to learn. It must have something meaning in his life. To suck every rubbish from world stuck the head in a week.

Most difficult is learning away. Welsh are really bad. I remember them up to grave.

I have not met much respect in this forum, what ever it then means in real world. Age rasims is one of those odd things here. Birth happens when it happens.

Well said. That COLOSS paper on survival of local vs. non-local stocks was a very questionable study.

I was also intrigued that professional breeders/rearers/researchers were wrong about the stated races of their bees in around 30% of specimens analysed.

We would do well to remember that when a paper is published, it does not become A Fact, but rather it is published for critique, comment, challenge, and replication or contradiction by further studies.

Anyhoo, enough beekeeping content, back to the petty insults and mud-slinging

Oh LOOK someone that is actually TRYING to discuss the OP !!!

My head is spinning from trying to keep track of all the cross references, people please stop using initials I've only figured out what BIBBA stands for!

I can see that this Thread has descended lower than low, and I thought some useful discussion and gleaning of useful information could be had.

Suggest you read my post again and notice the question marks. They were questions as in questioning your rant.

I do wish people would say what they mean to say, rather than obfuscate the meaning of what they are trying to say. Now I haven't a clue what you were trying to say.

Well I apologise for my part in the lowering...I can only plead defense....
Alas I think any thread on this forum that starts with AMM in the title is destined to head this way.

In the name of Scieces, the title of thread is OK and interesting. But some feelings inside the lines are very humanous.

The the researchers would be more objective, but perhaps they wanted to thank a little bit their investors and supporters.

The worst fault is saying"local bees are best". Who knows what is local? 1000 km to that or to that direction?

In most places of the world bees have never been local. What difference I have noticed in local bees is, that they become every decade better and better. Then they become carbage in a few year when mix to local mongrels. ... Or worse, they get inbreeding faults.

Merely because thick paddles like you force some posts that way... whatever a thick paddle is?

Was it a typo designed to be offensive?????

I rest my case about any thread with Amm in the title being destined to be derailed.
Well done Hoppy...1 post later and off you go trolling again (Yawn).

Oh, I think you know exactly what I was saying.

Believe it or not Swarm, I don't.
I'm a simple lad, please spell it out.
And no I am being serious. I really don't have clue what you are on about.
You mention rant but which one :)
