I am studying for Module 5 & 8 of the BBKA modules (my last two) and in mod 8 there is a section of The History of Beekeeping in the British Isles and in or about 1900 it states;

The BBKA and its associates provided a good system for the dissemination of collective knowledge. It has been said that it expanded and comprised so much detail that the organisation lost its flexibility and thereby its pre-eminence. Such comment could be true today with its cumbersome method of deciding policy through its annual delegates' meetings.

Nothing changes.

Regards;
