asforth feeder question

ok its me again, how do i set up the ashforth feeder please. i mean which way round does it go?

Presuming that your hive is not perfectly level, place the feeder with the trough on the lower side so that the syrup drains into it and the bees get it all.

make sure your hive is level... and that nothing is blocking the bees way into the feeder, I have a type with a glass cover, and am investigating getting some clear acrylic ones for my other similar type... so I can see the bees feeding.

Usually with the feeding station at the front of the hive; presuming also that your hive is level or leaning towards the front (so that the sugar solution flows towards the feeding station).
