Sad isn't it? Flattened by all the rain, they were looking good early on as wellOur crocuses have been out for a while. I planted some later ones but they all have come up at once. Being trashed by the rain as is the Hazel. Just hope it stops raining by the time the willow is out.
The same happened last year with our early crocus, the rain and wind here are not forgiving. Our crocuses have been out for a while. I planted some later ones but they all have come up at once. Being trashed by the rain as is the Hazel. Just hope it stops raining by the time the willow is out.
Alexanders has just started flowering here and if it ever stops raining, my bees will be on it for the next two months.

It beats SWMBO!Not that she wants to be called Mrs Poot..........apparently!!
Look out for pinkish pollen loads.Strange, Alexanders grow pofusely along the verges here and I've never seen a bee on them. I'll have to look more closely when they flower.
