Nice design, an improvement on some ideas I'd had so well done to them for making it but doubt the bees will do well and I wonder how long before the perspex is covered in bee faeces... As for the marketing nonsense, tend to agree with the above posts!

I’m intrigued by the fact they say they hold the “intellectual property ” rights to a polycarbonate box with holes in the side which fits in a Transit van.
Do they really think someone else will try to “muscle in” on their market.
Best use of the box would be as clear crown boards! 😁

what an absolute load of misleading bollix most of their hype is firmly entrenched in cuckoo land
Completely & utterly agree - a company promoting & encouraging utter bolax. In my view should be treated as a severe case of AFB, burnt & buried.
Creditation to iso whatever whatever - always amazes people/businesses buy into this

Rant over

I think that gauntlets through a clear box to handle "hazardous" goods is pretty well established "prior art" and their claim to hold the intellectual property is nonsense. I guess they could try to licence it to Porton Down! 😁

Come in, folks, they probably have a side-shoot. They supply hives with the purchasing businesses logo on and for the business that buys most from them they award a giant tankard, annually. This is presented to the majority shareholder as "Mug of the Year". 😉

"Rent a hive for your home and get fresh organic raw honey delivered safely directly to your door."

I wonder where they're getting their organic honey from?

James
Exactly!
It does make you wonder what planet some people are on.

greenwashing for corporate clients
True, but give Thalia credit for finding a niche in the market and trying to make a business out of it. Sure, the broken bottom bar, over-smoking and thick gloves marks her out as a novice, but those errors won't be known to the corporates, and she does emphasise planting for pollinators.

In the written blurb she also advocates planting rhubarb adjacent to hives to prevent varroa! In fact every sponsered hive gets its own rhubarb plant, oh, and two new trees.
If she found a niche, its gullible companies.
