So who's going and who's up for a cuppa mid morning once the 'scrum' has died down, I say mid morning cos I will be involved in the early scrumaging :smash:
My wife is coming along so I will be easily recognised by the ball and chain on my wallet

I'll be there (well a week on Saturday anyway). Overweight middle age with beard. That should narrow it down :biggrinjester:

Thanks for the reminder though, I must try and dig out a suitable barrow with rotating knives

"I must try and dig out a suitable barrow with rotating knives"

you could wield your clearer board - plenty of sharp edges there!!!!!

It is far more civilised in the new premises, however I recommend that absolutely no one goes until after 11 a.m.

PLEASE do not ignore this advice, this way I can get all of my cash spent in the early morning before you arrive.

"anyone going from liverpool/manchester area?"

not on the saturday - they'll have been and lifted several pallet loads late friday night.

hmmmmmmm predictable:banghead::banghead::banghead:, guess as i am having bad day i take offence even though i have only lived there 10years.

I recently went to the Thornes sale near Romsey. Because of work commitments I only got there about half an hour before the sale was due to end. Nevertheless when i arrives There were only a few cars and customers hanging around so I had the luxurary of sauntering around getting what I needed with helpful staff on hand.

That's one advantage of going for Langstroth Hives! Yopu do not have to be part of any scrum and without all this brood and a half come away spending less money on one box rather than 2 to house your bees.

Im going to wait till the sale online about a fortnight later same price spend over £100 pound free delivery

i thought the prices (eg for supers) was marginally higher at the online event - that's what was posted in the previous sales threads.

oh and you don't get the chance for infamy on here when your car packing causes momentary hilarity.

I think "Monsieur" is a giveaway to those that the UK education system hasn't failed.

but then again nowadays......

I was at Wragby last week! We got there at half ten and were the only people there! I looked, I saw, I bought a few bits. Lovely helpful folks, especially to an ***** like me.

Thornes have asked me not to bring one as it may detract others from the Sale itself

Overweight middle age with beard.

You need to tell us whether you are male or female to help narrow it down a bit more.

I'm the recently escaped from the circus and now semi retired bearded lady who likes chips

Can everyone who goes take a camera with them and post up some pics ?

How many pics do you need of a smart car stacked out with goodies? Or will there be a competition to see who can beat Dr S?

'Cos there's never been a "hot teenage blonde girl" who turns out to be a fat mid-forties trucker from Hull on the internet, has there?

I feel your pain James - but in time you'll learn to trust again.. but you are quite correct.

DrS - it seems "monsieur" is not only English, but a bearded lady. I hope now you can see that text books are no replacement for the real world. Just consider yourself lucky you were too busy with your medical books to not agree to meet any "hot teenage blonde girl" at 9.30pm in the Toddington Services Wimpy.

'bearded lady'
I think I've had her..........:piggy:.
an 8 pinter if I remember correctly....:cheers2:
If its one and the same I will be hiding quietly in the corner talking to the wife about my twin brothers antics when he were a lad.

Pete D (the shy one of the twins)
