It may not be the pc thing to do, but, if you have colony after colony picked off by wasps, there comes a time when its you or them.
Several years ago, I had a whole apiary of 30 colonies killed and robbed out by wasps. I also happen to know that one of the farm workers where I have some of my bees is extremely allergic so it is the farm managers policy to destroy wasps. I would have thought he would be failing in his duty of care to his employees to do anything else.
