But is there a limit?
Dry mould on lighter comb will be cleared more enthusiastically than wet mould in old comb. Why is the comb mouldy? Damp resulting from a dead winter will likely stink and be wet from dead bees, so burn or bag & dispose in the waste.
 
These were DN frames taken out last autumn as part of winter prep. They were in a freezer to kill wax moth but have since got quite mouldy in storage
Be careful not to breath in the spores from the mould. You don't want to get Aspergillosis
