And it tells me Finman that you don't have an understanding of GMP II. Your comments are only true with respect :)

I wonder what do you know about oxalic acid? Is it a bad poison or what?

And what was the real problem to be solved?

Bearing in mind that it will be used in creams that are applied to wounds then it's important to use good quality material.

And who on earth wants to make his own wound creams?

From Martindale The Extra Pharmacopoeia:

"In dilute solution oxalic acid and its salts are toxic owing to withdrawal of ionisable calcium from the blood and tissues..

An why you should eate pure oxalic acid?

Look at vegetables. Like tomato and carrot, oxalic acid gives that special flavor.

So clearly, it's not a good idea to use beeswax which has not been sourced diligently or properly 'processed' to remove contaminants especially when in contact with open sores..

WHAT!!!!

.
Own wound creams? NHS hospitals extensively use a specialist cream that happens to contain yellow beeswax as an ingredient. .

But what it has to do with beekeepers wax?

They surely know what they are doing. And it si sure that hospitals do not buy their creams from local beekeeper. That is pure imagination.

In practice beewax has so much rubbish that I cannot understand what is the proplem.

However, I have handled 50 years combs wax and all kind and poo with my hands. That is beekeepers' life

What is the Basic problem? Of course I can read what ever opinions, but what is the value of those big ideas.

This forum has 90% carbage which have nothing to do with practice. Like this "lovely white wax" ...

Karol has asked for wax if you dont have any then dont trash the thread.

So now you resort to personal insults yet again that is all you understand.

And you too, Mr. Veg. YOu are allways biting my legs when you get apportunity. I have seen them tens.

Karol asked this special question. And why from this forum:

Does anyone know of a supplier of medical grade yellow beeswax? Please pm me. Desperately need to find a source to be able to continue to supply a specialist cream which is going out of stock in hospitals all over the country.

Thanks

Karol

Then he continues up to combs' oxalic acid and what ever...which had nothing to do with life facts.

It all has to do with the quality of the wax that they want, and where better to ask for beeswax than a beekeeping forum.
Oh and by the way have a happy christmas Finman.

Hmm, so let me think - Karol asks for help on the forum - quite clearly worded:
I'm probably going to break forum rules but I need help and there are patients involved.

Thing go slightly off topic as usual, we ramble a while then Karol gets accused of being an id!ot who knows nothin about wax and how dare he even think about being dismissive of oxalic acid, and what fool in his right mind would ask for wax for wound dressings!! Veg tries to get the thread back on topic as there seems to have been a misunderstanding somewhere and gets accused of not playing nicely.

Your right! behave boys :nono: :D
