Aah but then there's the Revenue men. I know that in centuries past their rule in West Country was shaky, but that was then

I have a friend in German who makes and sells mead. (His is rather nice - aged in oak sherry barrels.) He bottles his in 75cl bottles (like wine) and charges £8. That seems to be about the going rate. He also sells 5L mead boxes (pro-rated). I have helped him sell it at fairs - it goes like hot cakes. (We sold about £1,500 in a day.)
