There are 3 repeats scheduled inc in HD on Sunday, so don't worry if you read this a bit late!

Been lots of interesting programmes in the "Alien Nation" series.
You should still have a chance to catch up on the iPlayer.
Check the BBC website for this programme http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/p00zst23

Just watched BBC 4 'Insect Dissection. How insects work'
Excellent. BBC said

To reveal this extraordinary hidden world, entomologists Dr James Logan and Brendan Dunphy carry out a complete insect dissection. Cutting-edge imaging technology shows us the beauty and precision of the natural engineering inside even the simplest insects. Stripping back the layers, they uncover ingenious body systems and finely-tuned senses - a bug body plan that is the hidden blueprint behind insects' 'global domination'. And they discover how science is now using the secrets of insect anatomy to inspire technology that could save human lives

Will try to catch Sunday's repeat, any one know which channel and what time?

Not much specifically about bees ... BUT ... a whole lot about 'how bees work' illustrated by pulling apart some larger insects.

If its not something you know much about, it should be a very good foundation.

Amazing images - their disection-microscope-cameras have great depth of field ...

Oh, and stings - honeybee is only "Level 2". Those insects giving you a 3 or even a 4 are a whole lot more painful ...

Hey, I gave you a link, from which you can find the various repeat times, see it on iPlayer, discover the other related programmes ... isn't that enough?

Itma; Yes it was enough, sorry I didn't see link first time. Got it set to record now. Thanks.

Very interesting, especially the close ups, but yuk too.
