Worth a few quid if hardback it seems.

I have the hardback first edition with dust jacket, I certainly didn't pay that for it, obviously waiting for some mug to think it's a valuable rarity

Apologies, on second reading of your post #18 I see what you were driving at. You may well be right about the marketing/PR person, but it could be that the author submitted a brief summary of the salient points and it was quoted verbatim. We shall probably never know.
