It's a long read but when you consider how some US beekeepers look after their bees - trucking them thousands of miles, mixing up bees from all over the country and then feeding them corn syrup because they can't feed themselves in readiness for winter .. is it hardly surprising that there are problems with bees in the USA ?
As for thefts on this scale ... it was never a two man operation - this WAS organised crime ..
