This oil leak makes one wonder if they should ever be extracting oil from beneath the 0ceans,and they don't even know how to stop it.

I have to admit at being confused as to what this rig was actually doing.

She is described as drilling an exploratory well. Yet on TV she is shown connected to a pipe line which is what is leaking or so they say.

If she was "just" drilling a wild cat her BOP system should have closed the well in.

If she was producing then the ESDV's should have closed the well in.

How they have landed up in this mess is going to take some time to become clear.

Can we also remember 11 men are missing presumed dead. 11 devastated families.

BP profits soar as oil spill clear-up progresses.

Yes they say its a pipe,and could be spewing out oil for months.

Pity the huge profits cannot bring back those people,or the thousands of other creatures that are dying,and livlihood of thousands that could be lost as well.
