I am just saying (and it seems as though several agree) that we can disagree with each other and we should offer advice, we all have massive amount to learn from each other but we don't need to be rude, offensive, acidic, slanderous or threatening.
This forum clearly has a huge amount of collective knowledge but my own experience is that there are a few individuals who seem to think that it is acceptable to be all of the things above. We just don't need to be like that, & let's be honest these attitudes and comments would not be tolerated at a local association meeting. If you were face to face with a person you disagreed with you would likely be far less rude & confrontational whilst still disagreeing.
I have received so many messages of support via private e-mail from people on this forum over my stance to stand up to people who overstepped the mark on my crowdfunding thread. At the time that started I was not a member of the forum, in fact I never knew of it's existence and was only alerted to some of the outrageous comments by someone who was concerned at the nature of the comments. Now just a week later some of the same people are getting into a similar feeding frenzy about another beekeeper who is not able to defend themselves and is slowly descending to the same level.
Come on, you know who you are and so do the rest of us.. stop hiding behind your usernames (because you can be found!) and try to be a little more supportive to others...that is all
