Always a welcome sight this one.

Solstice nearly upon us. Still 28c at 8pm and plenty foraging.

Lucky B! Wet and cold here! Good photo. First daffodil heads through the ground though. They are usually open for Christmas but I think it might be new year this year!
Always good to hear from warmer climes....?

G'day Enrico....it's always nice to see the spring bulbs up. Once they start, they don't change their minds!

English Lavender (that's what we call it here), in full bloom but no honey bees foraging on it. Not interested at all this year. Bumblebees on the other hand are foraging on it keenly as usual.

Ivy just starting in our garden.

First daffodil open.......not wishing my life away but spring is just over the horizon!

You guys and gals must live in the tropics......
We still have Ivy yet to flower and snowdrops and daffs are months away..

Spring is on its way, photo taken just before Christmas and lots in flower now.

This is as good as it gets here. These are the most advanced, most off our daffs have yet to put their shoots above ground.

Not much available here at present - mahonia being the exception.
With the bees active every day, using energy to scout around and finding nothing, I guess they'll be consuming more stores than if they were clustered?

Spring may be on its way but it's some months away here.

Winter started on the 23d. Let's have some reality, please.

Sheesh....

Winter Flowering Honeysuckle and Christmas Box are flowering here. No bees out to take advantage though.
