I’ve seen mine on viburnum Tinus and hellebores, but not on hazel so far.
Some gold coloured pollen going in as well as creamy, off white stuff.
Most activity is water collecting from every conceivable source.

Yep H20, one expects they have a fair amount of ivy to process. My hives are steal bolted down so expect in another months time frames may need replacing with some drawn empties.

. Have you seen bees on the catkins? I'm waiting for the goat (*****) willow to break bud.
I was stood under a large hazel tree with one of my landlords Tuesday and although it was almost impossible to see them you could hear bees the whole time!
***** willow JUST breaking bud in two of my apiaries this week.

Saw a bee on the sarcococa today whilst replacing some fencing on my boundary, it and the viburnums exuding some great aroma today .

Raspberries, blackcurrants, loganberry, blackberry and hornbeam in my garden allotment are just showing signs of coming into leaf ....the Timporley Early rhubarb has several good shoots on it already - not forced either. The other varieties are just showing buds coming through. I'm hoping spring has sprung in the Costa del Fareham !

We've gorse, snowdrops and crocus here in North Yorkshire.
The bees are very busy coming back with bright yellow legs!
