As I forged ahead last Saturday morning in what can only be described as atrocious weather (transferring 10 lots of bees from travel boxes to BB's) I realised there must be a market for a waterproof beekeeping suit, anyone seen or heard of them?

I had three layers of protection and was soaked to the bone!

Not that I know of. I used to wear a slicker suit over the bee suit.

thanks, just on the back of a post I made on the bbka forum, does anyone else see a suit as a seasonal purchase?

Would it be worth coating a bee suit with that silicone waterproofing spray for fabrics? Surly that would make it waterproof.

I think there is a waterproof wash you can use too, maybe that would help.

Cheers
