Wasp nest in nuc

Had a baithive/nuc blow off the garage roof even with 2 bricks on it. I had a super frame of foundation in it as its all i had at the time. When i picked up the trashed nuc i found this, still with queen alive inside. I shall watch this grow through the perspex crown board

You know the 3 feet/ mile we use for moving bees, how does it work for wasps? I am thinking if this wasp nested in this nuc when it was on the garage roof, could i move it to near ground level & she would find it again if she leaves? Is there a distance wasps work to like bees?

Yes i do know that but i didnt have any so i just put this in as it was better than nothing, & at least they would have somethjng to hang on.
The nuc had been used before so has propolis & bee "smell"
Clearly the wasp liked it.
