I made 10lbs of sugar into a 1:1 syrup how much volume of syrup is it actual just 10 pints or is something else?

.
I know only that 1 kg sugar mixed to 1 litre water is 1.6 litre.
1kg sugar is aboug 1 litre.

No it is about half as much again, so always make sure your pan is big enough!! :)

There are lots of areas in the UK where the bees are being fed, as there is little or no forage due to weather. So 1:1 to keep them going in the hope of a turn in the weather to sunny days!...well ...I live in hope!

Not a pretty sight thousands of bead bees due to starvation and lack of stores... check the A m ligustica and carnolikka mixes and matches now... we have feeders with 1;1 syrup on at the moment!
