Having given a colony a couple of saved frames of stores recently I was musing on the possibility of artificially filling an empty comb with a thick syrup as a way to add feed next to the nest without adding space.
I was wondering if warm (50C) 2:1 syrup in a hand sprayer set to a coarse spray would work.
I'm always curious so may give it a try.
Has anyone done anything similar?
