Sounds thrilling

Feynman was the best explainer of physics in his day. He brought it to life.

(But then I am biased having one oof his books at home and having trained as a physicist:)

I quote from Volume 1 2.1 Introduction:

"A few hundred years ago, a method was devised to find partial answers to such questions. Observation, reason, and experiment make up what we call the scientific method. ......"

I commend the scientific method to all readers :xmas-smiley-033:

The all reader cannot understand what is scientific method. In this forum the term is a mere joke.

I have followed here, how difficult is to understand what means insulation. Or how difficult is to understand heat leaking or influence of wind.

IT is something outside of every day life.

Or if some one has studied in university, and even got a degree ready.... Ban him!... Or at least shoot him to legs. In Australia that game is called Poppy Cutting. In Finland it is called "Talents on your knees".

influence of wind

A little butterfly beats its wings in the frozen wastes of Finland... causes flooding in Cumbria?

I have heard about that. What about when one million butterflyes move their wings?

In old days reason was "Evil Spirit".

Not my cup of tea.

Your avatar reminds me about life style of modern young people. They live like Jesus.

They live with their mother up to age of 30 years, and if they do something after that, it is a miracle.

Thanks, Finnie - that alone was worth switching the computer on today!

I left home at 19, never looked back and everything I achieved was on my back and not on the back of others, i'm a great believer that one should stand on their own two feet when they reach adulthood although I think girls that age need protection in today's world
