Slug Pellets

Has anyone heard of bees dying as a result of slug pelletts being placed in flower beds ?? A couple of people have noticed a lot of dead bees in these locations in gardens.

No, not noticed. I wonder if the bees have been drinking slug pellet residue where the flowerbeds have been watered. The ground here is very dry.

Maybe those using slug pellets around their flowers might also have been spraying them with something?
