This ungracious twaddle will go on until the men unite or they guillotine those who have everything but deny others food, warmth, clothes and a place to call home and become a true country that treats all as one.

You mean like ISIS do? :)

Give us your money because we cant do anything of value.
That is politics 101.

Voters get the politicians they deserve.

If you believe in money trees, then at least one Party is giving you the option to vote for one... (and no I am not joking).

I think we need to get people back to work but not on zero hour contracts, how insulting is that.

Hang on, not all zero hours contracts are bad. Some industries such as events and hospitality have always used them - they're a key part of making the industry work - and the norm for most staff. There's also people who like having such contracts. What is wrong is the abuse that some employers indulge in. If you ban such contracts you'll hit some industries hard. Let's go for regulation rather than a ban.

What's the matter with a living wage? Granted, a lot of people want to work part time as that suits them, but why do we allow full time wages that have to be propped up with benefits?

A PP Broadcast on TV

"which party has had the most effect on you in the last 5 years"

Well, surely only the one in power.......

The corollary is: with no benefits either the jobs would not exist or they would pay a living wage.

Somewhere there is a lesson there.

Subsidising employers to employ people makes no economic sense and eventually ends up with the state running out of money - and then the jobs which are unviable disappear- or the state deciding to no longer do it and the employment market suffering a painful and lengthy adjustment.

See Upper Clyde Shipbuilders and the former British Leyland/ Rover Car Company as examples.

Are they all Twats that are on a different planet or is it me?

No, it isn't you. They are, all of them.

As for the latest stunt - it makes me think his advisors don't want to come anywhere near winning because of the risk of forming an awkward coalition.

Don't worry, it will all be over in a few days and we can go back to being sh@ upon by whatever party wins.
One thing that wouldn't surprise me is that after hanging on to Callmedave's coat tails for the last five years Clegg and the bland party might sink further into obscurity than they did under Jemmy Thorpe. The only thing that may save them is if people wake up to the fact that the national front (have you noticed how quiet they have been the last year or so) have actually re-branded and are now called UKIP - what an unpleasant bunch of neo-nazis they've turned into.

As a quiet-life centerist, I would hope that a coalition of some sort might restrain the worst ideological excesses of whichever bunch of zealots almost make it.

Unfortunately, most of the likely coalition 'partners' look to be more extreme than the principal parties - so that the next coalition may be dragged AWAY from the centre ground.

And at a personal level, this becomes an extremely difficult choice - as the only candidate with any chance of actually unseating the ghastly premier league expenses-guzzling Tory ex-PRman seems to lie with Mr Jenkins' "neo-nazis" - and their ex-Labour candidate!

It isn't the sort of choice I want, but I'm damned if Russell bloody Brand gets my support ...

I understand Mr Farage wants to ban the BBC from making Strictly Come Dancing. Yes: seriously..

Whether or not they are all neo nazis is debatable , but their leader seems to be intent on losing voters.. or insane.. or drunk.

Almost as bad as erecting a tombstone...

Will he and his BNP boodies want to make the " goose step " compulsory for Primary school country "dance, movement and mime" lessons.

Noticeably there was no blue ribbon on the local Maypole today... think our local Maybon Kernow lad got at it!

Yeghes da

Whether or not they are all neo nazis is debatable

Quote from one of the Ukip campaigners whilst talking with SWMBO's work colleague Gay Alun 'people like you should be dragged out in the street and burned at the stake'
Remember this is how Hitler and his mob got a toe hold in the thirties - pandering to the imagination of a recession tired populace desperate to blame someone (in the 1930's it was immigrants/jews and 'sexual deviants', now it's Immigrants, Moslems and gays.) for the state of the country.
Not saying they're all neo nazis, but probably neither was every member of the national socialist worker party of the 1030'sat first - at one point (a few years ago) i could identify with their dislike for europe and the way it was trying to swallow up our great country. But they quickly realised there was a great crop of moronic voters out there such as the bare chested beer bellied 'Engerlund' type bovver booted morons looking at a way to legitimize their predjudice so it's gone from a party kicking the traces to a nasty little nationalist type group headed by a buffoon like Nigel Farrago

We have been away for the weekend and on the way home my wife sais "do you realise that not one of the dozens of people we spoke to mentioned the election"

So BBC and ITV..........do a poll and find out just how many people actually want to hear all about it.

Its even worse that we also have to endure having the American one rammed down our throat..
