How do you tell if it's fine or coarse crystal?

Rub it between your tongue and the roof of your mouth?

do you get a wax melt first leaving hex honey lumps or is it a slurry of melted wax ,lumps of crystalised honey and melted honey and cool this down so the honey can drains off at a lower temp and the wax solidifies
