Clearly a ready market for top ventilation ... I'm going to have a word with JBM and see if he will give me a hand to cut some holes to sell on ebay - better than these from Thornes - you can have ours in any size you like - they will fit any crownboard or any type of hive .. all you need is a saw or hole cutter to insert the holes into - can be delivered electronically to save on the postage... here is my prototype in progress... Does not include the cut out piece - just the hole. Price - only 25p each ... paypal accepted.

What with hacking these days...I would insist on having them sent in an envelope...more tangible and no chance of theft. Just make sure you get the real thing...not Chinese knockoffs.

Of course the organic, natural, holistic ones are a little more expensive - 50p each but can also be sent over the internet to save the P & P charges.

I heard on the grapevine that there is going to be an accessory made for this - it's a circular piece of plastic that fits over the mesh section to close up the hole - for those that don't want top ventilation in their hives.

I resemble that remark - my holes are all of top quality and hand made, they contain no foreign bodies or contaminants and are exceptionally eco-friendly !

I've often thought of Cornwall as a black hole so you shouldn't have too much bother carving a bit off the whole !!

Just meaning that counterfeiters may intercept your genuine holes en-route and swap with counterfeits like Vietnamese Chinese American honey that the BBKA fills half its rag with each month. Have you sold many e-holes to a-holes yet?

I can't wait to get my eco friendly, non contaminant, hand-made, purified and smoothly rounded holes. I'm not keen on black but would love pink...if you can manage it...after all they are all girls.
Can you please include a detailed diagram and instructions for installation?

If you go to Buckfast Abbey - or fast buck Abbey as it is known locally - you could buy wholly holy holes and they would not charge you more than £10 each, I'm sure.
