It is a rare woolly knee with a boot on the end. You often find beetles on them!
 
If you hit with something metallic, does it go “dunggggg”?
 
Anyone identify this bug?
There is an obvious time lag.
Either flash is now a dog or you have slowed down the video by centering the image of the beetle.
Also, there are dung beetles above the 40th parallel, aren't they tropical or Mediterranean species?
 
I'd say its a Dor beetle (which is a variety of dung beetle). Did you get a look at its underside by any chance?
 
Looks like a scene from steptoe and son. Albert sitting about in a stable, in his long johns whilst wearing wellies. 😂
