After a discussion with some beek friends I am curious, during inspections do people routinely remove empty Queen Cups or do people leave them in?

Play cups is so that every hive makes playcups even if they do not swam.

Playcups means nothing about swarming fever.
 
I took a steer from Stewart at Norfolk H C who checks and squishes them as he goes. If it’s good practice for him, it is for me.

I have never did that during 60 years and it has been good for me.
