Inspected a DB hive 4 days ago and was confronted with several Q Cells ,Not expecting to see this and not having any equipment with me it was a bit of a Ham Fisted attempt to find the Queen and Nuc her,This i did but due to another (non bee related) issue i was very hasty in checking and destroying all the frames for Q cells.I am not convinced i got them all. Is it safe to go through them again before the 7/10 days recomended and if so would i destroy the older or younger cells. Thank you

Which box are you talking about? The original colony now minus queen? You want to leave one open healthy cell ( open so that you know when the new queen will emerge). You need to get in there before the first is due out.Earlier is ok as long as it’s late enough for the bees to make no more.

The original colony with the Bees minus the Queen. I will check today,Thank you.
