Added a pollen patty in March. Still some left, bees seem to be taking it.

They have good pollen supply on frames.

Is there any harm leaving the patty on at this time of the season? Should I just let them finish it off?

No harm at all but....

When I fed a "slap and a slosh" in the Spring the colonies that failed to take the syrup and finish the pattie was a heads up for a problem, usually weakness. I should add my patties were pure pollen and defatted soya.

Did they need one in the first place?
Do they do any good in any case?
I suspect the answer to both questions (epecially as they haven't really bothered with what you have given them) - is no

Hive was light in March, so decided to add the patty to give them a boost coming into spring.

There is pollen in frames, but they are still taking the patty too.

They are doing really well at the minute. Queen laying very well, and adequate stores.

Just figured it wouldn’t do any harm, if I left the patty on.
