Is me right in thinking that house bees become guard bees before going out to forage or is it the other way round

Guard bees before foragers, sharpening their stings by the doorway before going out . . .
I get all the syrup I can drink. It's billed as a fitness program to keep the weight down and the humour levels up. It's a good way to learn between power naps. Can't recommend it high enough.
