at the allotment today i was talking to on of the lads, it is his job to produce the seeds for the cabbages and he was telling me that he has used the same plant for 10 years, it looks like a tree but every year it produces seeds, it was the best cabbage of that year and they let it go to seed and it has never stopped,

i was always under the impression that we had to replant each year and collet the seeds from the following years plants, but no you dont have to

Doesnt leaving cabbages in the same place encourage club root??
