To mention but a few, and of course a good old oily rag on the afterdeck after dinner was a treat

It always amused me that people strongly object to being called a tart
(Which derives from Strawberry Tart = Sweet Heart)
but don't mind too much being called a berk
(Which derives from Berkley/Berkshire Hunt = Well you can work it out!)

I've sampled the county Mayo version of home brew before - I'm told it makes you blind - I can believe that 'cos i lost the use of my legs for a few hours!

Poitín will do that to you.. the bad stuff will take your eyes aswell worth being carefull around anyway. watever else test if it turns milky in water and run if it does.

Recommended to me by an Irish Osteopath after I sustained a back injury!

Mix with olive oil, rub into area affected, goes straight to the spot and kills pain. Never did get any of the stuff but probably would ahve drunk it instead
