Just a caveat; lots of people keep trying to improve beehive design; most are just variations rather than improvements.
 
Does it matter what gender I am?
I thought we were all equal nowadays and we have the right to have babies.

it probably put data about weight and lifting in perspective... at risk causing a polemic, on average, men are stronger thus lifting supers will be less of an issue.
 
Upper body strength is the limiting factor in many women not being able to join the army, as they generally speaking do not want to put the weight on to get there!
 
Just been through the survey and no mention of poly hives and it won't let you skip questions that are not relevant to me, other is not an option !
 
Ha.. it was the age I grumbled about.. being an older lady! But I suppose age and gender may make a difference when lumping full supers about.
But the wheel invention still basic as should be a bee hive .

Isn't 'Poly' a material rather than a hive type ?- separate question
