Anyway back to badgers,

Perhaps not a good idea for a blog?

Happy new year to you :)
I've been slapped twice :)
Farmer friend of mine lived in a farm atop a hill ,a bungalow estate had been built close by . Brian had his own study ( pretentious ba**** d ) where he loved to sit sipping a whiskey and watching a rugby match.
One day a guy and dog walked by his window !
Being a calm reasonable character, Brian reminded the guy that he was trespassing and had better leave forthwith !
The guy protested that he wasn't doing any harm ,merely walking his dog .
Brain reminded him that this was his garden and reiterated that he'd better shove off .
As the guy left ,Brian took note of which bran new bungalow the guy entered , he then got a part grown pig on a leash, walked it down the slope and onto the guys front newly turfed lawn.
The guy came rushing out mouthing oaths! Brian just stood there, his pig wearing a garland of uprooted turf , smiled and said " calm down I'm only taking my pig for a walk" :)
I have lots of stories of Brian :D

MMM, Interesting.

Presumably you wouldn't mind a gathering for a picnic on your front lawn, all leaveing whatever they couldn't be bothered to take back with them.
:

Before curling one down in the corner by the gatepost and decorating it with a tasteful bit of toilet paper :D

They're so up themselves with their little poop bags, then they just chuck it in the hedge - better off the little man down by us who has a little coal shovel, he just scoops it up and chucks it somewhere where it will bother noone

Sent from my netbook in carriage c on the way to Folkestone listening to a load of common Cardiff student types trying to sound sophisticated but actually talking boll*x :D

Delamere forest has discouraged the use of poop bags ,they have a campaign ,," stick it and flick it " obviously fed up of all year round tree decorating !

Most established rights of way pass close to f of the mountainarm buildings some even through the farm yard, one I know passes the farm kitchen window!
Probably established to link homesteads without hindrance !

When my grandparents first got married they lived in a remote cottage up on the hillside without so much as a lane to it - just a footpath which passed from the small holdings on the West of the Black Mountain to the ones further East the path passed right through the garden past the front (only) door. My grandmother was from a busy mining village and everyone thought she'd struggle up there all on her own all day, but when the moved down to the bottom of the valley a few years later she said she couldn't get used to the solitude! That footpath was a busy thoroughfare and noone would think of passing an open doorway without calling in and saying good day - up on the mountainside it was a constant stream of visitors!

Don't get me started on dog walkers.............

Friend of ours has security cameras. :paparazzi:
Parish council have taken objection to them, complaining that he shouldn't be allowed to film the public footpath (that runs through his land).

So now, one particular Parish Councillor makes it a routine to look into the camera and drop her plastic bag (poo contained within) right outside his gate! :puke:

I've said he should post it back through her letter box! :D

What does everyone think???

No restriction on photography in a public place is the UK is there? I would take stills from the cctv and publish in the local rag to highlight the anti social behaviour of this stalwart of the community. Also complain to the county council public protection department about the health hazard created to the person with the clean up job.

Apparently there is!

The P.C. object to anything they have not done themselves.
Sometimes they object to someone else doing something that they have already done to their own homes;
double glazing,
satellite dishes,
colours of exterior paintwork,
parking in the road,
new fences,
new hedges,
parking in the village hall car park,
new dogs barking!. .
BT digging up the road for a New Villager, (not been here 25 years)!

Our local parish council seems to have no power at all.
The district council do what they want, rarely take any notice of PC views.

I am with Gj, no restriction on photography from a public place in England at least, also, as it is his land, he can take as many photos as he wants.

I would post it back through her letterbox, after all, he is only returning he property.

Posting it through a letter box is illegal..

Far better to invite the local rag to see the film you have streamed on You Tube showing the Councillor polluting the pathway..

And referring it to the police.
And to the local parish council..

And the Daily Mail as well - if there is a political angle.:serenade:

When my brother and I were devilish little boys, we would have given her the paper bag trick. Put the dog poop in a paper bag on her front porch, light the bag with a match, ring the bell, and retreat to a safe distance. Don' try this at home.

It's not photography though - being a CCTV camera it's classed as surveillance - or even directed surveillance both covered by RIPA (the Regulation of Investigatory Powers Act 2000).
If he just happened to be photographing a blackbird in the garden and espied a dog walker behaving in an anti social manner he has the right to photograph him, however if he was lying in wait for him camera in hand - again directed surveillance and in breach of RIPA unless he had a DSA Directed Surveillance Authorisation.

If that's the case how do the paparazzi get away with lying in wait for people?
I would stick the pictures on f book and let it go from there.
