I visited Alfred's tower today, first thing I noticed when I got to the top was not the pain in my calves or that I could see practicaly the whole world from up there, but there were numerous honey bees flying around. I followed them and found they were going into a crack in the mortar.
I'd have thought the climb to 166ft high would be a bit of a waste of energy for the bees, I've got to say I wasn't sure 205 steps would be worth it, but the view wasn't bad.
