I have a drone laying queen in supers and below the Q- excluder a lying marked queen .... I know it's a drone laying Queen not workers as 1 egg per cell and the laying pattern , what's the best way to deal with this . It must of happened when I had a snelgrove up above ......

yesterday i was called out to a hive of mine as it had some how been swivelled around , as i was putting it back together i pulled out a brood frame and saw an emergency Q cell i checked the rest of frames quickly and found 3 more ( no sign of queen ) . so i do not know what caused the hive...

I know it's a random question but on average how heavy is a bs national hive weigh with out roof ( red cedar , I don't have a spare one to weigh myself) ......

i will try and describe what i saw as i did not have phone to take a pic. i saw a capped Q cell but the top was intact but there was a hole in the side no Q inside and old Q still in hive has anyone come across this before ,,,,, p.s there was no other Q cells many thanks in advance

hi ,,,, i am getting ready to feed as some hives have not enough stores , the question is do i put the feeder on top of the super ( hive set up is national brood box ,Q-excluder / super ,crown board , roof ) and let them store in super and brood . Then once they have enough stores move...

i have a typical snelgrove set up :- brood chamber ,Q excluder , 2 supers , snelgrove board,brood chamber, crownboard , roof..... the top brood Q has mated fine and the bottom Q swarmed (but caught) , I WOULD LIKE TO UNITE TOP WITH BOTTOM BROOD CHAMBER (Q-)... Do i need to move supers or can i...

i purchased some yellow plastic queen cages from th**nes, i put a queen into one of the cages with fondant and left the tab in place ,,, went back today to break off the tab to see the bees have ate the fondant and killed queen as the tab is to small . Where do you think i stand with the above...

i have a national hive with bottom bee space which way up does the queen excluder go on i,e- flat side or side with rim around it
