... just your shopping list mons ab? do you want to borrow the Smart?

Nah, won't need anything as big as a Smart. Looks like he's only getting one of each, so not much at all!

but looks like he's feeling confident and going for 10 each of the 3rds supers and brood bodies. first a homemade clearer board; now remedials to boxes. whatever next.

you don't need knives - just pick up a couple of sheets of varroa mesh before the scrum - impossible to wield without injury to self or other parties!!!!

The thirds are well worth looking at. I believe, thirds are only available at branch sales and won't be available in the winter sale as they are "Sold as seen".

I can't go to Rand but the saving on 10 3rd quality supers over 10 second quality supers would probably cover my fuel costs...

As I recall last year someone threw a blanket over the entire 3rds pile of supers rather selfishly grabbing the lot

Hopefully that won't happen this year..! It's a pretty mean thing to do...

Sale Day

Im going to wait till the sale online about a fortnight later same price spend over £100 pound free delivery

I asked T****es the question re winter sale prices, unfortunately the answer does not address the VAT issue.

My question

If possible could you advise me what the difference is in price between the sale day and the winter sale? I seem to recall the prices are similar but the winter sale prices are plus VAT.

Unfortunately I may not be able to make the sale day this year.

The answer

Thank you for your message. The prices will be more in the mail order sale. For example, a National Super will be £13.50 and a Roof £17.00.
Carriage free order is £100.00
Regards
Gill

Someone will probably do the thirds as Monsieur has already said. I'm going on wednesday for a look around as a lincs association thing. Will raise that particular issue. I only want a pack of 14x12 and two sn1 packets of frames so will hang on until the online thing.

Good luck to all who go.

Baggy

from experience of last year, it is more organised than when at wragby bee works.
Lots of national frames/brood/lids/floors etc in lots of piles. So don't worry about the rushing and pushing.

Lovely restaurant there too now to get a cuppa and somthing to eat.
:hurray:

Well my mate has let me down as he has to work, gave me his shopping list though and lent me his van and said he will pay the diesel so fair dues.
So it is just me and the wife, her minding the trolley me hopefully loading it. Then loading the van followed by a more leisurely walk around the shop and a cup of tea. As mentioned before I will be easily recogniseable by the ball and chain on my wallet :)
