Well the US election is drawing near and we are pretty sure it will be between Clinton and Trump. I don't like either of them, but dislike Trump more. My third choice is to throw my vote away by casting it for a protest candidate like Vermin Supreme.

I think Brits are more up on world affairs than the average American, so I would like to hear your opinions if you have one. Who would you vote for and why?

Monster Raving Looney Party candidate.... but the to be in a United???? States election candidate it seems you firstly have to be a multi multi millionaire or millionairess and a surviving brain donor!

As one person said - if this was an IQ test, the US are in a worrying position.
Voting for trump would make the States an international laughing stock.
By what I see and hear - Bernie Saunders is the best of the bunch unfortunately over there you have this strange aversion to socialism or anything that smacks on fair play to all even though he's a better alternative than Clinton.
I heard an old Whitehouse west wing veteran say she didn't want to work through anothe clinton administration as the last one still left a bad taste in her mouth.
The only thing I'd give Trump is another round between the eyes just to make sure :D

Sanders has had nearly as many votes as Clinton in the primaries, but the DNC rigged system will not allow an Independant win the nomination. He is my first choice and if it wasn't a race against Trump I would write him in.

My issue with Clinton is how negative her message is on the state of the country... if she was so smart about fixing her perceived issues why didn't work on it while she had the current Presidents ear for 4 years?

If nothing else.... a Trump presidency would make for a very entertaining 4 years.

I think you need someone like Vlad Putin to sort the mess out you lot are in... ever thought as a union with Russia?

Or you could have Boris J... I believe he wants to head up a white elephant!

I'd probably do what they did in Hartlepool and vote for the monkey. At least the offer of 'free bananas for schoolchildren" was probably genuine! http://news.bbc.co.uk/1/hi/uk_politics/1965569.stm

We've enough lunatics in politics here without getting involved in someone else's. If it comes down to it at least Trump knows how to make money but whether he would be good for the Merikan population is anyone's guess.

Polonius:
This above all: to thine own self be true,
And it must follow, as the night the day,
Thou canst not then be false to any man.
Farewell, my blessing season this in thee!

Laertes:
Most humbly do I take my leave, my lord.

Because so many vote for a candidate because your bought media told them that candidate X can never win you keep the wrong people in their seats. vote for who you believe in. you will still get the president that bought the white house but at least you will have a clear conscience... If I was in your shoes, I'd vote vermin supreme as in a representative (debatable in the USA :)) democracy, your vote counts a lot more taken away than given.

Anyone who flies around with 'Trump' (always meant to Fart in my family) all over his aircraft has to have a sense of humour.
My nephew asked who the women were who are often seen sharing his platform...must be 'Trumpets' he said to howls of his own laughter!!!

Who would I vote for, not a brilliant choice is there but Clinton will be far better for the US. Trump will be true to his name and shite all over the poor.

At least if you get him in power you wont have to watch The Apprentice USA anymore. On which point maybe we should get Alan Sugar to go into politics to.

His first challenge comes when he realizes he can't fire the senate, or congress, or any of the supreme court justices.

The best we can hope for is that Hillary beats Trump this time rounds, then the Republicans sort their lives out over the next four years and produce someone sensible, who can string a few words together and come up with solutions to the West's problems.

Clinton will be a disaster for the US, but probably not for us. Our disaster-makers have German accents.
