When to extract?

I have 2 hives, both with 2 supers on and both in a similar position.
The lower supers on each hive are full and capped.
The top supers are maybe ½ -3/4 full, but only just starting to be capped.
So I was wondering what to do?
I was hoping to extract all 4 at the same time, but is it getting a little late in the season for them to fill the top supers, and therefore, will they cap what's there??

Should they be left for a little while longer? Or should I the switch the positions of the supers and put a clearer board under the now full upper super, so it can be removed, leaving them the half full to continue working in? Or clear all the supers and extract as is?? or any other option I haven't thought of???

Sorry for all the questions, just a little excited about my first honey crop!

I would take the full ones off.

Same advice, remove and extract the full / capped supers.

You can then add they back on top and let them clean the extracted supers and use the honey from that to add to the part filled one.

Same with the cappings from the 1st extraction.

me personally, I'd remove the two capped ones, and leave the others for the bees save feeding, if any is left next year then remove it
