Most brambles still in bud here. Lots of white clover in the fields. There can’t be much for the bees to go at as they’re actually foraging in the garden, which is usually ignored. Bees are mainly in the geraniums and lavatera. (Please excuse iPad photos in the wind)

Bees on clover and the bramble that has come out. The little lime that has just flowered is being ignored. Hot weather on the way this weekend so that might bring on the nectar and and increase the number of flowers.

Just waiting for the promised sunshine. Bramble doesn’t produce nectar under cloudy conditions which explains why I’ve seen no bees on it.

I planted what I thought was sainfoin in my wildflower bed, but it’s white not pink.
Still, bees are all over it today

Not noticed bees on bindweed before, but saw some last night, as well as a few on asparagus. Lots of orange pollen on the latter.

Saw bees working the brambles today, though perhaps half the buds are still not open. Also noticed a few working what I think are geraniums (for nectar, by the looks of it), and they've found the borage too.

Visited this SSSI and protected chalk down land today. It was buzzing with pollinators.

On Holiday in Oban. Lime is budding but not open. Brambles have the odd flower open whilst in the corner of the harbour there are about 5 Himalayen Balsam plants busy flowering.

Really pleased with how the wildflowers have turned out, sedum and anemones in bud which I thought was a bit early? Garden looking lovely
