It is Italian product name of oxalic acid. I cannot find that it contains otjer stuffs.

One important thing is that it follows Italian consentration. The syrup has 4.2% oxalic acid. Northern Europe uses 3.5% and Switcherland 2.8%.

Trickling invented in Italy almost 20 years ago, and I do not know, how long vaporazion has been used. Perhaps 30 years.

The price is huge. You get normal oxalic acid £ 10/kg and Apioxals kilo price is......

35 g is £ 11........ £ 300/kg.

It has silica and glucose as well. The information is in the detailed product description made to the VMD, not on the packet as far as I remember. .

But what is the meaning of those glucose and silica. Tell me what is function?

Where it is said that vaporatzing OA needs those stuffs? Letter does not name then as active stuff.

Again splitting hairs instead of... After using 20 years without those taxes.

Biggest humbug in USA has been varroa tolerant bee strains. IT is essential part of dead rate of hives.

Queen sellers have sold queens whose real tolerancy is not better than ordinary bees. And every one have song in chorus.

St. Peters needs a new roof Finman.

Silica is an anti-caking agent.
I suspect the glucose is there to make it sufficiently different from unadulterated OA to allow some sort of legal protection ... it also ensures the Sublimox gets really messy.

Strange... in a previous incarnation I worked for a large confectionery company that used OA as an anti calking agent for sucrose/ glucose/ fructose!!!

Lot of money for a little sachet of OA with added sugar and sand...

I hear some beekeepers are experimenting with cleaning the interior of their hives with yacht deck cleaner vaporized into small crystals. As far as I can ascertain as long as you are not intending this cleaning process to eliminate varroa ( how can it as it has no glucose or silica which are obviously essential to the legally available stuff) then you have done nothing illegal.
How come the rest of Europe allows this hive cleansing but the UK doesn't??

What a waste.

Over 90% of British beekeepers have 2 hives, and they buy stuff for 10 hives.

Ten!, why ten, sublimation of apibioxal is with 2.3g per hive (equivalent to 2g of pure oxalic dihydrate). so a two hive owners have to buy enough to sublimated 15 hives not 10

or do you sublimate with 3g per hive?
