I have Ali tape to go over the ends but I'm also routing out the timber frame so the poly will get sandwiched so the ends wont have any axes for little critters etc.
As to cleaning got to be easier than marine ply which can go black and is a right pita to clean?

The Mrs is isolating upstairs (test positive but asymptomatic) so I've used the opportunity to promptly start rearranging the house the way I thought furniture should have been all along then used the dining room to get a head start on bulk frame assembly without having to stop halfway, 50 SN4 nearly complete. This is bliss and I've got at least another 5 days of it. Here's hoping she gets it again.

Be careful, she may give it to you and rearrange the furniture!

I know, I'm wearing an FFP2 mask at home except when eating or sleeping (spare room). Although if I do get it, I expect to receive the same exceptionally high level of room service I'm currently providing.

I suggest ham sandwiches - using thinly sliced bread so that you can slide the individual components under the door

If she is anything like my much beloved spouse (just in case she does read this) and manages to read what you have written, the room service will consist of opening the door and throwing bread at you.

Less chance of her finding those hives you have hidden in your garden too!

Had a spare hour on my hands so finally got around to making a (rather rough) queen cage just to work out dimensions and practicality at present. Just an idea that's been in mind for a while now. IMG_20220205_163739.jpgIMG_20220205_163809.jpgIMG_20220205_163750.jpg

Careful. You’ll upset a certain forum member who thinks you treat your wives appallingly in your posts. 😂😂

They're welcome to perform an inspection to check I'm meeting the High Wife Welfare Assurance Scheme standards. She's getting hand cooked food delivered to her three times a day (not including a Mcdonald's 'breakfast' this morning, all the washing up done after meals, washed her sheets for her yesterday. I'm doing all the childcare and running the house while she's sitting in the warmest room in the house watching the Winter Olympics! Even she's said she wants to do this more often.
