veils

Bought 3 veils recently, at least they were supposed to be veils. They have the straps for under the arms but an elasticated hole where the top of my head would be. Am I missing something? I have a full head of hair but I don't think that will be protection enough! I think they must need another item to attach to but I'm not sure what?

There you go - the choice of hat is up to you although I do think the boater adds a little style . Just check that the elastic at the top is a good fit and make sure the brim holds the veil away from the face.

I use one of these with an integral hat and ring to keep the veil off my face
