What is the best sticky stuff to easily apply to the inspection board.... Olive oil?

What is the best sticky stuff to easily apply to the inspection board.... Olive oil?

Olive oil will go rancid fairly quickly and its expensive, I use a combination of vedgetable cooking fat like Trex or similar and Canola oil or similar and a twist of wintergreen, ypu could even use yor old frying oil if you wanted too.

Mix it up into a light grease like substance so its not runny and the mites are killed on contact.

The added bonus with a grease is you can apply it to any vertical surfaces they might try walking along.
