Where did you source the clear labels Nige.Coll?

In fact, can anybody recommend the best/cheapest place to buy unprinted labels?

Me, too. You can see mine here, Brian. Really not that dearer than the not so nice ones Thornes do and people really love them.

Actually you can't as URL blocked. But you can see them at sevekingsapiaryDOTorg/buy-local-honey if you want to see something different.

They are digitally printed so each jar has its own 'batch' number and I record which honey goes into which series of jars.

Your search - sevekingsapiary.org/buy-local-honey - did not match any documents.

That didnt work either!

alldigging,

to satify him indoors...

£12.50 for the 250g jar. But only on selling the honey on Bermondsey Street itself.

(Remember, London property prices are a big overhead !)

Personally I design / print my own labels and think that can make a big difference.

At a Honey show last year I was amazed by how many different beekeepers had similar looking labels (sourced mainly from T's) and therefore it was really difficult to determine which honey to buy between the tasting table and the sales table!!

Might I ask :where do you source the material to print on (the labels) and what do you use as your printer?

many thanks!

Thank you! That's mega. Yes the london weighting! People have been saying mine is too cheap at £3.50 for 12oz. Tastes delicious and that's the important thing. :)

Anyone actually sell their honey in a pre printed box ??

As my earlier post bought one of these jars in Italy and though the presentation was great, really sold it as a premium artisan product. Box had cutout to front so you could see jar inside.

I did at Christmas time. I sourced some double boxes with a cut out on Fleabay. They went like hot cakes :)

Well done, you. That's really good that you can get that much for your honey. Our Honey Coop's £5.50 for 12 oz is not too bad for impoverished Cornwall - I've seen it a lot cheaper than that down here.

I use my own photos and the Designpro software mentioned earlier.
Laser labels and a colour laser printer.

I think that's a fair price. High enough, but not so high as to make a potential buyer gulp and then walk away because they can't afford it. The idea is to sell it, not have it turned into an heirloom.

:iagree:

In Yo Yo's, that's € 6.94 seen it selling near me for € 8.95 , no issues with that, it is a Premium Artisan product unadulterated, un tampered with.

It really should command this, hence the reason I think packaging is vital, regardless of where you live , what area.

You would be amazed how people will find the extra in the recesses of their pockets if they perceive it to be of benefit to them and is appealing re packaging and presentation

Cheers

Brian
