I tried to get hold of an epi via my GP, whose wife is a beekeeper. It's a catch 22 situation. He looked into getting a prescription for me as a precaution, should I (or anyone with me) suddenly go into shock. He eventually told me they can't be prescribed unless you have previously suffered from anaphylactic shock.
He agreed it was weird situation as you don't know if or when it may happen (hopefully never) and that is the time you need one!.
So I guess those who have illegally acquired one are no worse off if the damn thing doesn't work than the rest of us....and perhaps better protected if they do.
Are there any other means to acquire one by legal methods?
